Methotrexate

Methotrexate is prescribed for rheumatoid arthritis, certain cancers and severe psoriasis.

The drug can be taken in empty stomach or with food. But make it a point to take the drug at the same time every day so that you get the best results. While taking Methotrexate, drink lots of fluid.

Methotrexat is harmful to the unborn babe. Therefore, the drug should not be taken by pregnant women and by those who hope to conceive. Well, if you are on Methotrexat medication, do not get pregnant. Mothers should not breast feed their kids when talking Methotrexat as the drug is traced in breast milk.

The drug is also sensitive to sun and so avoid sunlight and sun lamps when you are on Methotrexate medication. The drug is reduces the clotting effect and also lower the immunity power.
