Isosorbide Mononitrate

Isosorbide Mononitrate is a drug given to prevent angina caused by heart disease. The drug can be taken with or without food. The doctor’s normally prescribe two doses a day, which has to be taken in a gap of seven hours.

Always follow the doctor’s direction; do not take more or less. Once you feel better after a few weeks, do no stop the drug in the middle as it can only complicate matters.

Well, before the doctor prescribes Isosorbide Mononitrate, you should have to tell him about all your medical conditions so that he can take a decision on the prescriptions. Tell him if you have any blood related problems, heart complications, bleeding of brain low blood pressure or if you have over active thyroid.
