Methotrexate

Methotrexate is prescribed for rheumatoid arthritis, certain cancers and severe psoriasis.

The drug can be taken in empty stomach or with food. But make it a point to take the drug at the same time every day so that you get the best results. While taking Methotrexate, drink lots of fluid.

You have to complete the whole course of the medication to get good results. If you stop the drug in the middle of a course after feeling well, you are at high risk.

Once your doctor has decided to prescribe Methotrexate, you should have to tell him about all your medical conditions. Inform him about all your allergies, especially if you are allergic to any medicine, food or any substance.
