Indocin

People who have rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis are administered Indocin. The drug is also given for the treatment of gout and some types of tendonitis and bursitis.

When you take Indocin, you should have to follow your doctor’s prescription. Do not miss a dose and do not discontinue in the middle of a course. The drug should be taken with food to avoid stomach upsets.

Before your doctor prescribes Indocin, inform him if you have a history of problems related to the liver, kidney or heart. Tell him if you have diabetes, blood cell problems, clotting disorder, bowel problems, Parkinson disease, high blood pressure, and asthma.
