Warnings/Precautions
Celecoxib can cause serious damage to the liver. If you experience vomiting, nausea, loss of appetite, tiredness, yellow coloring of skin or eyes and dark urine, you have to immediately contact your doctor as these are symptoms of liver problems. If the drug is taken for a prolonged period, you can come across bleeding stomach ulcers. You should have to immediately see the doctor if you come across burning stomach pain, blood or coffee ground like vomits and tar like black bowel movements.
Missed Dose
There is nothing to worry if a dose is missed. Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. But if time for the next dosage, skip the missed one and continue with the regular doses. Never mix two doses.
Overdose
Drowsiness, dizziness, vomiting, nausea, stomach pain, headache, blurred vision, slow breathing and little or no urine production are some of the symptoms of over dosage. If you suspect an over dose, seek immediate medical attention.

Celecoxib is rated FDA pregnancy category C. This means that drug can cause harm to the unborn babe. As the drug is seen in breast milk, you should have to avoid breast-feeding while taking the drug.
Persons who are over 65 years of age are only prescribed a lower dosage as these people are sensitive to the side effects of Celecoxib.
