Motrin
Motrin gives relief to the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. The drug is also prescribed for mild to moderate pain.
How Taken
Coming in tablet form, Motrin should be taken according to your doctor’s prescription. The drug should be taken with food or with milk to avoid any stomach upset. Take care that you do not take more than 3200 mg of the tablet.
Warnings/Precautions
Motrin should be avoided if you have syndrome of nasal polyps, history of hypersensitivity to the drug, or if you have the syndrome of angioedema.
Do not take Motrin if you have bronchospastic reactivity to aspirin or any other nonsteroidal anti–inflammatory agents.
Missed Dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. But if you do not remember till the next dosage, skip the missed one. Never take two dosages at the same time.
Overdose
If you suspect an overdose, do not delay in seeking medical attention.
More Information
You should have to inform your doctor if you come across gastrointestinal ulceration, bleeding, skin rashes, blurred vision, weight gain while taking the medicine.
